A barber first, always
I'm Ahmed. I've been behind the chair for over 20 years now — long enough to know a good cut isn't just the fade. It's how you feel when you stand up out of the seat.
My shop, Wise Guys on Whangaparaoa Road, is where I do the everyday work. Walk in, sit down, walk out sharp. But the big days kept coming up — weddings, corporate events, the boys before a big night — and dragging a whole party into a shop on the morning of never made sense to me.
So I built the shop into a van instead. Hexagon lighting, marble bench, a proper barber chair, espresso machine, every tool I use day to day. Hand-built right here in New Zealand.
That's Lux Barbers. Same hands, same standard — just parked wherever your occasion happens to be.

I'm based on the Hibiscus Coast and I travel the whole stretch — Whangaparaoa, Silverdale, the North Shore, the CBD, out through Warkworth and Matakana, and all the way up to Mangawhai.
Pricing is based on distance and time, so you only pay for the travel your booking actually needs.
